What size shot wood you use if both sizes pattern equally well?

if they both pattern equal id go with 4s....bigger...a little more punch...bigger holes...and carry their energy longer.....but i wont hesitate to use a GOOD pattern of 6s....exspecially hevishot 6s since they are heavier....and smaller so they will get better penetration but still have more weight and KE....
