I own 2 Cuddeback NF's and 2 Moultrie D40's. The Moultries have been more than satisfactory for me and I feel the Cuddebacks are overrated. It is called marketing. Go here and read for several weeks especially the reviews of all the cams and make an educated choice.

I have had one Cudde, these are the last pic's that were taken off of them!!!! It started out doing well and now I don't use it anymore....See pic's!!!

I don't know why it was taking pic's like this but i finally just took it down and quit using it....Every once in a while it would take a good pic????

HCO ScoutGuard SG550 would beat Cuddeback hands down

Gee, wish they had better marketing! So many people in hunting haven't heard of it. BUT their customer service and technical support is top notch!

The answer depends on exactly what you are looking for.

If you are happy with your Wildview then keep using it. The delay between pictures was the time it took for the flash to recharge. If you want a quicker burst then you'll likely need to go with an IR flash, but some folks, including myself, do not like IR pictures.

I have also noticed a failure rate of about 25% with major manufactured cameras so you are rolling the dice when you buy a new one. That is why you get some who swear by one camera and someone else will tell you that same camera is junk.
