What type of game cameras does everyone use?

i have a non-typical basic 35 mm and bought a moultrie digital this weekend. I have experienced some problems with the moultrie, it doesn't seem to pick up movement real well. I setitup yesterday in the living room for about 2 hours and with the whole family moving aroundthe whole time it only took 3 pictures. Its sensor range only goes out to about 40 feet. im exchanging it today to see if its just this one camera so maybe that will fix it? who knows. i got the camera because of its huge capacity (100 pics with internal memory or over 2000 with a sd disk which i had a few of )and speed of seeing whats on the camera. it also takes video clips and has a option to turn off the delay so that it takes 3 pictures before it goes back into the delay.

I've had great luck with trailtimer. they've yet to release a digital model and I'm not sure they ever will.

I'm curious how long battery life is on various digital models. my battery life has been excellent (2-3 months, even in winter).

having the capability to store 1000 pics doesn't do any good at all if the batteries only last 2 weeks.

My leaf river takes 5000-6000 pics over 2-3 months per set of batteries. It'son it's third set of batteries since March. I love it, don't think I would buy any other brand after the good experience with the Leaf River.

from what i've heard moultrie isn't a very good brand of camera. i have a stealth cam 35mm. and it seems to work pretty good and isn't too hard on the batteries. they usually last about a month or two.

i originally got the non-typical because of the reviews i had read on the moultrie 35 mm(water leaks)and the stealth cam( film winding problems) We thought we would give the moutrie a try cuz it was 99

I use the Leaf River digital and a Stealth Cam 35mm. Both work really well for me.

I have actually had some good luck with my Moultrie digital.
I even got a second one over the weekend and put it out. The
trigger is a bit slower than some film cameras I have had but
I have still gotten some good pics. Everybody has their preferences
and these do well for me.
