Does the flash spook?
Having trail cams for the last 3 years, I have always been interested in watching people argue the point of does the flash spook deer. I, in my opinion think it does not. Alot of pictures shows the repetative use of where the camera flashes. Now the next question I have to ask is, and I have not tried this myself so I am not sure is, does the camera or certain cameras make more noise when it snaps the shot? It could be a possibility also, since seeing some deer from my stands here a little noise and take off. No doubt about it I think this an interesting topic that could go a variety of ways. Whats your opinion?

RE: Does the flash spook?
I think it can spook an animal. However, I have watched deer while hunting with their face in my camera and not spook from the flash. I have many pictures of deer (including big bucks) in front of my camera for 30-45 minutes without spooking.
As far as noise, my Cuddeback and Homebrews are quite as I'm pretty sure all digital are. Maybe the old film cameras would make noise.
