Carcass cam update: not your ordinary fox
Strapped on the skis and went out to check the trail cam today. Very interesting picture. Haven't quite decided what it is. My guess is a red fox with a white coat color variation due to the black points on the ears and feet. Only one picture of the litte guy. I don't think it is washed out from the IR flash because you can see patches of the dark coat color of the deer carcass peaking through the snow in a few spots.
I left the camera out so I'll see if he/she shows up again or not. If anyone thinks it is anything different, please speak up.

That certainly did cross my mind. The color is certainly more cat-like than fox-like. I stare and stare at the picture and I have a hard time turning this into a cat. I don't know. Here is a close up.
