My garbage collector will not pick up dead animals and our county landfill will not accept dead animals either. Dumping on the side of the road in ditcheseven in the country is not allowed either and when people do this it just gives the anti-hunters ammo. Most of you know that Iskin and bone my deer in the woods whereI kill itand leavethe carcass behind. What do you do with yours?

I take them back to the woods for the other critters to eat what's left.
The landowners are ok with it.
One of the landowners requests that I drag the deer out into the open to gut them so the Eagles can get to the gut piles easier.
I put the skeletons in an area we don't hunt close by.
I'm sure the coyotes, crows, eagles and other animals appreciate my efforts

Interesting question. I seemed to have missed this paragraph in the MI hunting and trapping guide (I ran across this yesterday while reading it):
I approve the dumping of deer carcasses I've butchered on my own property. Does that count do you suppose?
Irresponsible dumping of deer carcasses can spread disease and may result in a ticket. Hunters who process their deer should properly dispose of hide, brain and spinal cord, eyes, spleen, tonsils, bones and head in an approved landfill.
