Default IR photos blurry?

I have a moultrie I40 and likeing it so far has a good trigger time and excellent battery life and good photo quality up close at night the IR shots are good but when the deer are back a little farther or moveingthey are really blurry and you can't even tell if it has antlers or not. I would say 20ft back maybe. Are other IR cameras like this also!

Default RE: IR photos blurry?

They can be yes. The exposure for night time IR takes a bit longer. Distance plays a facter as well.
