hi i hope someone can help me. i've been reading this thread and have decided to go with a couple of wildview cameras. i planned on buying rechargeable c batteries for these cameras. does anyone have any experience using these cameras with 5000ah c batteries?
If so what brand battery do you use?
thanks

I would stay away from "regular" rechargeable batteries with any game cams. I tried them in some of my earliest cameras and founs that they only lasted a couple days to a week. Wilth wildviews I would buy the 12V battery paks (by Stealth Cam; ~$40). They work great - last anywhere from 2-5 weeks. much better than rechargeable C batteries.

I second doughboy's responses from above in regards to the 12V battery. We have 2 Wildvew 3's and have both of them hooked up to 12V batteries. I just went and checked them last week after having been out for 2 months (our land is 3 1/2 hours away) and the first and last picture were about 5 1/2 weeks apart. We brought them to the cabin, charged them up, and put them back out there on Sunday. We'll check them out again over the 4th when we head up there. Good luck with the batteries.
