Most rechargeable batteries have listed on them the total current capacity...if you divide the total by 500 ma then you should get a close time frame. Example my battery said 3200 ma and divide it by 500 ma then you get approximately 6.4 hrs to fully charge.
I did read the customers review comments section on the Cabelas web page for the charger and that was one of the biggest things about this charger was it didn’t have a indicator light to tell when it was fully charged. A couple of people said they just left it on over night and the batteries were fully charged by morning.
