Cuddeback help???

Default Cuddeback help???

Hi guys i have an older cuddeback(the 3.0) and i cant get the cameria to take a picture more than 20 yards and it will flip out and take a bunch of pictures at a certain time. Should i send it back or is there something i can do.. Any suggestions?

I have the same camera. I don't think you will get alot of pictures past 20 yards. You can adjust the jumper to a higher sensativity as the days get warmer. That may help. As far as the camera freaking out with a bunch of pictures at one time. I would suggest new batteries.

Try starting over from scratch with the new batteries. Program it like you just got it. If that doesn't work I suggest calling non-typical.

20 yards is a LONG way to get pix from! Man, at that distance the critters are awfully small in the photo!

As far as the cam firing off a bunch of random pix, I would be callin' the folks at Cuddeback, something isn't right there.

mine gets triggered bytree movements and sunlightreal easy when the batteries get low, usually a fresh set fixes it.

Also, check your settings, w/ the summer heat coming in - if you have it set tohigh the ambient heat causes it to trigger, it thinks theres an animal there...

ok ill try new batteries and see how stuff turns out my DC-200 35 mm works great it catches deer all the way out to 20 yards..... why does it work better than my cuddeback!???
