Scoobiedoo, I've went to every Denton Hill so far including last year and it's still going strong. There's fewer people now which is OK with me for camping areas but I'm getting the feeling that it's gradually going out of style. I think it's sorts like the local archery shoots that go through cycles. Back in the late 70's I came back from living in Montana and we got together and changed our local club from target faces to hand made life sized animal targets. Then the 3d targets came out a few years later. Now the IBO guys have the shoots taking hours due to their range finders etc... and the attendance is way down and there's nowhere for bowhunters to shoot. It will come full circle again just because normal hunters want to be able to shoot too. Good luck finding some true traditional places to shoot!

I'm from Mass and travel through your neck of the woods to get to springfield. I wasn't sure of the name, but spike nailed it. It was definately tollgate. I don't know if the shoots were trad. only or mixed classes

Thanks guys for the info. I have been in touch with Tollgate today and thanks to you guys I now have a local supplier for my traditional needs. The owner is a super guy and gave me some tips and ideas for setting up ground blinds.
Hope to see some of you out this way next summer!
