OK I know this question has been asked before, but here go's..
I want to build my own shafts. I would like cedar. where is the best place to order from? and what kind?
example> Cabela's / Port Orford Cedar Shafts.
So far one person told me NO on ordering from Cable's.

Parallels, tapered, and/or footed, RRA has the best PO cedar around. Cecil & Paula are fantastic ppl to deal with too. Tell 'em Vic sent ya!

You'll never find better service or better quality and consistency then Raven Arrows! Get a traditional bowhunter mag and look for their contact.

Yes I agree with not using Cabelas, I just did up some from thm and didn't like them, above all, there were two in the bunch that had been cut and if I needed them another 1/8" longer those would have been useless. I agree with Rouge River archery, or Kustom King, I buy mine from Kustom Kingand have never had a problem.

I get mine from RR. Order them weighted and spined within 2 lbs. Costs a little more, but they are top of the line. I've got one doz drying (stained/dyed) now and another doz drying (3rd coat of Helmsman Spar Urethane). Love those wood arrows!
