Our out of state shoots will be the KK, TSLBC, Cloverdale and maybe the Tannehill Benefit shoot. This will be my first time in 8 years not to make Denton Hill. I have a great friend from Ohio finally making it down for a deer hunt, so one of my weeks vacation will go towards that. Also, I may try for the shoot in Mississippi too. Take care..........Tom

I plan to shoot at some O.S.T.A. (Ohio Society of Traditional Archers) shoots this year, Cloverdale, Indiana, O.B.A. (Ohio Bowhunters Assoc.) and as many other area 3-D shoots as I can possibly attend.
In the early and mid 90s I shot an Assenheimer custom recurve and was good with it. At one 3-D shoot Gary Frey and I were walking from the practise bales to the course, past some of our other recurve friends. We waved to them wishing them well on the course and that we'd see them later. As we walked away I over heard one of them say, "Well, there goes 1st and 2nd place. I guess the rest of us will be competing for 3rd place." It really made me feel good to think that I was considered that good of a shooter, especially considering the company I was keeping. At the time Gary Frey was the Traditional National Champion. I purchased a new recurve this year and I intend to achieve that skill level with it, again.
