Since I couldn' t get much response on this on the other archery board...I' ve got a 55# PSE Coyote recurve, pull about a 30" draw and will be using it primarily for mulies and elk. Any thoughts on carbon arrow spec that might work well with this rig? The PSE folks recommended the Extreme 200 with a 125 gr. broadhead. A respondent to this same question on their board said he shoots this arrow with a 75 gr b' head, but I' d be concerned that this weight would be a tad light for elk. Any thoughts?

You didn' t mention how long you want your arrows, but assuming you' ll cut them to 31.5" for broadhead clearance, I' d go with Beman 340s and 125gr heads. You' re probably drawing 60-61# with a 30" draw. That puts you right on the edge for 340s or 300s. If the 340s show too soft, you can then stiffen them up by dropping point weight.
