Default Brokn Limb

I have a custom made bow that the upper limb is seperating length wise. Can anyone give me any info on if this is reparable or not? It seems to be about 12" long between the outside layers.

Thank You

Possibly, but it's best to contact the custom bowyer and ask him.

Unless the core is failing width wise, it won't hurt anything. Sounds like its splitting inside. Is this fiberglass backed?

Need a bit more info. If it is a glass lam, and is simply delaming, sure you can fix it. Or for that matter, if any bow is delaming, it can be fixed.

Yes it appears that it is glass outside. It looks as if the layer under the first, or, outside is the problem spot. Looks like I could pull it apart and put some more glass under it but I do not know if that is the best way or not.

How old is the bow?

Best bet would be to contact the Bowyer and see if he can fix it.

I do not know how old it is but I am now thinking that this is sound advise. Think I will try to get in touch with the manufacturer. Thanks for the input all.
