I had the same problem, after the second time I noticed I had it to close to the pulley so I moved it up the limb 1/2inch and made sure I cleaned the area with alcohol before re-applying. Never happened again.

I have limbsavers on my bow.. and I don't think I could get them off w/o damaging the finish on the limbs. How well did you clean the area before installing the LSs? I cleaned my limbs w/ acetone 1st.. and like I said.. I don't think they're coming off..

The instructions that came with mine said to clean with alcohol, then peel the liner off and apply....I don't remember the rest.
To those that used fletch-tite...Why? wasn't there adhesive already on it?

I have found that the supplied adhesive on the limbsavers works well initially but if you have one fall off and then attempt to reapply it then it is better to use additional adhesive the second time around. Personally, I use crazy/super glue.

hunter9022, Isn't acetone in nail poish remover? That would take the paint of the limbs. I wauld use a wet rag or maybe rubbing alcohol.
