I’m jealous. I’m in need of a new drum sander. Well, actually I think I’m going to get a new motor for the lam gig I made. It would be much cheaper. That is, once I quit playing with the self bows. I know I keep saying Im going to get back into the plywood bow buisness. It would save me a butt load of time. I just like the elegance of a board, or self bow. Besides, I’ve got some snake skins waiting for some snaky Osage bows next spring.
What size motor do you need I can get motors fairly cheap If I dont have one laying around. As long as its 825-1100 rpm range. 1/4hp to3/4 hp real easy
Me too Kent. I have several different small motors laying around. Let me know what HP you are looking for.
Also right behind the $200 rolling deer camp is a nice Osage tree with a limb thats about 7' long and pretty straight. I think I'll cut it down this weekend. Maybe we can meet up in abilene over the winter so I can get 1/2 the staves to you. Of course there will be a hunt involved out there.
