I shoot both but do gravitatemuchmore towards the recurve. I'm not really sure why. What's funny though is on a longbow, I do like a straight grip.

I have both, and do enjoy shooting both....however i am WAY more accurate with my recurve, and it is quite a bit faster....

I usually switch to recurve when my bow arm elbow starts to act up. Then I get in a rutt with the recurve that's hard to get out of sometimes.
