I'm just confused now....I haven't been looking around in the immediate area lately, but the scrapes I saw were only about an hour from here (near Aberdeen). Heck, even the Primos boys talk about our late rut on one of their videos, so I don't think it's just me. I'm not complaining though--reckon we got a cold winter coming?

The buck I killed was arrowed at 4:00pm..... I can't remember the last mature buck I saw that early in the afternoon in Mid November... It's almost un heard of around here... Mid December, yes, but not November..

Same here--got me puzzled (like I don't have enough trouble figuring them out). Talked to a guy yesterday that ran deer off going to his spot in the early afternoon. Another shot one and saw another at 9am. This is just weird! I do like the cooler temps though!

awesome dude, that's a sweet hunt. I'm going for my first trad deer right now! I put down the compound, and picked up the superkodiak. Hopefully something falls. I've been shooting and feel extremely confident out to about 15. Awesome buck and Congrats once again.
