I'm just confused now....I haven't been looking around in the immediate area lately, but the scrapes I saw were only about an hour from here (near Aberdeen). Heck, even the Primos boys talk about our late rut on one of their videos, so I don't think it's just me. I'm not complaining though--reckon we got a cold winter coming?

Chad
I don't Chad, I hope we continue to get cool weather, but the weather man says it will be a mild winter, but who knows.. I've been noticing abnormal whitetail behavior this year... MUCH more day time movement than the last few years and now, at least in Coahoma County, the bucks are most definitely in the pre-rut.... This weekend in that area should be hot and stay hot until the first of December.

The buck I killed was arrowed at 4:00pm..... I can't remember the last mature buck I saw that early in the afternoon in Mid November... It's almost un heard of around here... Mid December, yes, but not November..
