OK. But is it the riser handle that is having you call it a Hybrid. I will admit I am New to trad and recurve shooting. But when you mentioned hybrid, I started thinking about somekind of recurve with some sort of let-off. I am a die hard fan of Hoyt and only new of the GM and Tiburon in their recurve line.
But back to your question. I have not shot the gamemaster, but have looked at the new Tiburon and really liked the balance and smooth stack free draw. I have talked to quite a few folks about both, the GM and Tiburon and really it comes down to the same thing as with a compund. You really need to go to a pro-shop and pick them both up. Shoot both and see which works better, or feels better to you. The handle on the GM is a little different ( more narrow ) and gives for a different feel.
