Here is a news flash for you. "They," as you put it, are not always the cause of "...poor shooting."

Please don't tell me you are saying that an errant shot or a bad day at the range or 3D shoot is more often caused by mechanical failure then human error.
Believe it or not, as you will eventually learn, it is not uncommon that an equipment malfunction or inferior gear can be the cause.
Do you even realize that you are having trouble posting without the insults??
I guess you didn't look up what I told you to................shame.
No piece of gear alone is a miraculous panacea.
Also, just because you have not yet observed "wear and tear" on fletch or vanes, does not mean that it does not occur.
But if someone else observes it..........it means it does?? Weird logic.
Just how many archers have you bumped in to and all had a "WB" mounted on their bow?
If a person runs a pro shop, sells the item, and also repairs fletching damaged by the rest, I give his account much more credibility.
Vane wear and tear is a non issue anyways.........the B2 took care of that so no sense even debating something that doesn't exist.

Just trying to get a rise LOL
this whole issue is simply a personal preference thing if a certain person uses a piece of equipment and the like it , In their mind it is the greatest invention since sliced bread regardless of who can refute their claims even when it can be backed up by a mountain of torn up fletching
the whole thing is Ford Vs chevy thing to me
If you like the rest use it
but dont try to cram it down my throat because I dont like containment rests no matter what brand it is.

You need to step back and take a deep breath. You get too distraught and spend too much time unnecessarily listing quotes and posting your corresponding response.
You may be trying too hard too prematurely advance your archery/bowhunting related knowledge. In doing so, you take some things said too personally and become so upset you tend to start rebutting in a nonsensical interpretation and manner.

BPS, I tested the Bohning Blazers for the shop I was shooting for when they wanted to know if they were worth carrying. If you're satisfied using dinky little broadheads like you shoot, they do a great job. I had excellent results with broadheads between 75 and 100 grains on ACC's. Over 100 gns though...

Arthur, In this case, if you were using the same arrow shaft, could it have been a spine problem?
I don't know how well the Blazers work or don't but I wonder if this was an issue with the vanes lacking control because they don't offer enough stabilization, or they lacked control because spine was too weak with the heavier tips..

A "mountain of torn up fletching"? Wouldn't that be good for business? Honestly , I do question your ability to properly set up and tune the WB!And if you truly are a proshop owner try not being so opinionated towards a product that thousands of hunters are finding to be great , you'll do better business!

This reminds me of discussions around the campfire as friends try and plead their love of fat chicks.
One half can’t stomach the fact (me included) and the others clam we don’t know what we’re missing.
I’ve tried the WB and like it a lot. It did chew my feathers up some but I’m crafty enough to fletch my own. I switched to some drop-aways but had no problems with the B! Some of you naysayers may be sleeping with a fat chick, now you know how we feel when we see you hand in hand. Just playin this topic is sooo fun we must play right!
Atlasman, you get one rebuttal and than can you two shut up!

Is there someone here that feels he or she is loosing a bit of ground in the discussion, and is actually attempting to limit the definition of the term "bias" to only mean against, not in favor, to not like, etc. Or, are there two general ways to be bias; approve or disapprove? If the track runs both ways, and it does, why is it that the opinion of a person who is opposed to something has no credibility?
How is it that a person who sells the item in his shop but does not personally recommend the item has no credibility? Does anyone actually believe that all owners/employees in all bow shops actually like or recommend all the products they stock?
Now it is down to telling a person who sells and services the product, and repairs some of the problems that do occur with the product, that his tech skills are now questionable, and that in the future he should refrain from being opinionated when talking about a product that many have purchased. Get real!
Some like the rest, some consider the rest to be a piece of crap. Some people want to know what is good about the rest, some people want to know all about the crap side.

I'd have to agree with atlas here! Your statements as "a proshop owner" towards the WB are definately biased. "No matter who can refute it"? I'm still waiting for someone to "refute it"! "The shredder"? Sounds similar to "the whacking basket" eh c903? A "mountain of torn up fletching"? Wouldn't that be good for business? Honestly , I do question your ability to properly set up and tune the WB!

I never stated that I am a pro shop owner
I satted that I run a pro shop in charge over sales and service, I am a Factory Authorized technician for Archery Pro LLC and High Country Archery and custom Bow builder.
People ask me what I think about the wisker biscuit
I give them an honest answer by telling them that it is a very popular rest with a lot of bow hunters because it holds the arrow on the bow really good but I personally preferr using something other than the wisker biscuit
I give people other options other than the hype.
Marketing is a great tool to brain wash the publick in believing something is superior over a different brand.
but then you hear first hand of things that arent so perfect about the product and you want to criticize the messanger?
Like I said before if you like it use it!

) opinion of a product based on ones own trials!I still have an extra "whacking basket" I'll gladly send you , if you'd like to take a shot at earning some credibility.
