Default RE: Lite Bows?

I agree with the guys who like heavier bows---I like to AIM STEADY, and a bow that is featherlight simply does not do that unless you load the thing up with extra weight, the lighter the bow, the more I need to add---bows with greater mass absorb more shock and vibration, cancel recoil faster, and generally hold better. As far as lugging them around, for those who hunt with rifles with scopes, you are normally carrying around 7or8 or even 9lbs or better, right? I do not see many bows going near that even with accessories installed unless fully loaded up with arrows too, so any bow made today is fine for any hunting puropse IMHO, including stalking.

The difference of a pound or so while lugging is minimal, but when holding and shooting it can be very significant. I like bows in the 4+ lb range personally as others above mentioned. JMHO, Pinwheel 12
