I've been wanting to try a Coleman lantern for a while now. I hear they are great for tracking.
My question is do you use a fuel/propane powered one or a battery operated one?
They have a lot of choices in lanterns and I have always been curious as to which one to buy.
Any advice is appreciated.

Cloud, if you are also looking for a get to and from your stand light, I can't recommend the green streamlights highly enough. They truly are outstanding. Plenty of green light to see your way but does NOT disrupt night vision. Best addition to my arsenal this past year...
