Looking for a good red LED flashlight. I already have a stylus red light wanting something a little more powerful.

Thanks,
Darrell

Foreman, I can' t give any advice on the flashlight. Just wanted to welcome you here. I see you all the time on that great site from Georgia.

I want red because the red light isn' t supposed to scare game. I' ve also been reading that green won' t scare game either. Another reason for having these colors is it dosen' t take away from your night vision like a white light does.

Ahh, I understand. I have one of those military flashlights from the army surplus stores with the lens covers, I may give that a shot. It came with a red and blue lens cover. Blue would probably be bad though.

Thanks

Just got a Brinkmann Rally LED from wall mart. It is a white/blue tint light but comes with blue, red and amber lens covers. It uses two AA batt. and currently has been on for 12hr (testing batt life). Around $15. The white/blue tint is the natural color for LED and other color of bulbs are not as bright, unless the color is changed by the lens.
