3 blades vs. 4 blades

3 blades vs. 4 blades
Is there a big difference between 3 and 4 bladed broad heads?
Is one better than the other?
I currently shoot a 4 blade 90 gr. muzzy. I have been throwing around the idea of shooting a heavier head (100 gr.) for next season and wanted some imput on the pros and cons of 3 vs. 4 blades!
It' s never to early to plan for next year
How about arrow flight and tuning?

RE: 3 blades vs. 4 blades
It really depends on the head. In a Muzzy I like the 4 blade 100 grn and the 3 blade 125 grn for the best combination of penetration and tissue damage. I like the bigger 4 blade 115' s and 125' s for the max amount of tissue damage. I can' t say one shoots better than the others, but the more blades in the same cutting diameter the more damgage the head will do, and this should help with blood trails. That said, the more blades the less penetration you will get on heavy bone hits etc. In the grand scheme of things I don' t think it really matters a great deal one way or the other.
