TFOX, been there and done that! I found out real quick it' s dang difficult to push a P.O.' d water moccasin away from you when you' ve got a handful of wet bowfishing line! It does get the ol' ticker pumping good though. I had to leave the critter in possession of my bow while I ran to find a good tree limb to use for a club. The hand to hand (?) combat was touch and go, but I was finally able to reclaim my property.

Pinwheel, you do carry a can of paint thinner to counter the effects of sabateurs with paint cans dontcha? A black scope is kinda hard to see through.

Yeah Arthur,I know what you mean.I thought my stepdad was going to beat a hole in the bottom of the boat with the oar before the thing quit moving enough for him to cut his head off.

I thought for a second he was going to hit me with the oar,but then he realized he told me to do it as a joke.Snakes sunning on logs is a hard shot to make.The log seems to get hit more often and claim your arrow than hitting the snake.

Nah, I just carry a spare sight bar with scope on it in my folding chair pouch. I also tie trout hooks into my string in case someone wants to try to slide my peep when I' m not looking. Works every time.[&:] Pinwheel 12
