With a loop, you may have to decrease the bows draw length to compensate for the added length of the loop. If you don' t compensate, you may find yourself having to draw back further, changing your anchor point and/or fully extending your bow arm and getting some string slap. JMO.

Adding a loop will not change your anchor point to the string - nose, corner of mouth, or peep line up.
it will however slightly over rotate your draw elbow and may stretch out your form. Your placement of your release hand will move back slightly, and proper use of back tension and or shoulder alignment may change.
I recomend leaving your draw and string anchor the same - and see how it feels with release hand placement further back on your face. If you can shorten up the release so your trigger sits closer to your hand. This will often get everything back into place.

Ditto on what Rack-Attack said. They are now making ' loop' releases that reposition the trigger to compensate for a standard loop length. You can also shorten many of the existing designs on the market.
We' ve had customers come into the shop with loops that are 2" long. Do you think they should reduce their draw length by 2" ? Loosing 20 fps and several facial anchors, let alone a different peep picture, is not my idea of the ' right thing' to do.

Only thing that changes draw length on a bow is twisting strings and or adjusting or changing cams. Tieing a string loop on the string only changes your anchor hand position by the length of the loop.
Mine is set at 29 inch draw.
I can take off the loop and it will still be 29 inch draw.
I can add a 3inch loop and it will still be a 29 inch draw but my anchor hand would now be three inches behind my head. Understand??
String loops do not change draw lengths. never have and never will...
I think I' ve beat this dead horse enough.
Good luck....
