Problem with Rage after switching blades.

Possibly not with your setup, but then again I have seen stranger things happen. If you had shot it with a rage it might not have even gone threw the boulder covered corn field that bent your broadhead in the first place.

I have shot 5 deer with the rage, and not one has went over 70 yards. I'm pretty confident that it would have gone much better for you, she would have probably gone 40 yards and dropped. My rages all held up fine after blowing through a deer, just the typical small blade damage. Nothing serious like the tips bending, hell i didn't even need to replace the blades on them until two seasons later.

Better yet, how about "big-raging-country-d-bag"?

BC you could make the switch but thats entirely up to you. Ive heard good things about magnus heads up until you told us yourself that the little doe you shot almost broke your broadhead in half. I dunno that I could trust a broadhead that bambi almost took out. Just my thoughts. Hope that didnt go over your head.

Ha ha no one said you were wrong with your broadhead choice BC. I surely hope that if you decide to reuse the broadhead it doesnt fail on you if you hit something solid on a big deer. Im sure the integrity of that head has been somewhat comprimised after being bent and then restraightened. I just hope you didnt start shooting magnus cause you saw Ted Nudget shoot them on TV. If that was the case you would be just as bad as all those who fall for the rage advertising hype.

But if you must know, the number one reason i shoot (or used to after hearing top quality experts like yourself and dstubbs) is I can get 6 for 20 dollars which is a lot cheaper than zwikeys or other two blade cut on contact, second, I can get them shaving sharp in seconds, and lastly, they fly better for longbows than any I have tried.

Cant say I ever claimed to be an expert. If I recall correctly there has been a couple of guys on this thread who do, or sure seem like it. At least you do have common sense enough to experiment and try things out before making up your mind on what you shoot. You must have put the rage heads threw testing just like your magnus didnt you?
