Problem with Rage after switching blades.

My preaching BS? Are you kidding me? The advice I give here and at the store is based on a good bit more knowledge than most hunters will ever have regarding their equipment.
I am not a fan boy of anything but good rock solid performance from my equipment and my customers equipment. From his posts he is far from good rock solid performance from his broadheads. I try to educate people the best I can even though some seem to have skulls as thick as armored steel plates.
Being that I have been working in this business for many years, and bow hunting myself for nearly 20 years, I get the luxury of trying out nearly everything that comes down the pipe so I have the luxury of knowing ahead of time what many people have to find out the hard way.
I hope that he or any one here ever wounds and loses an animal because of a choosing inferior equipment but I know that isn't going to be the case. I will try not to yell "I told you so" too loudly.

So, if something so minor as a pin being bent so slightly that you can hardly notice it causes the broadhead not to work is it still worth risking it in the field?
All I am trying to get you to do is think about it just a little and put your ego aside for a minute. I know they cost $40 for a three pack but....... why would you want to use any broadhead that can be so prone to failure with something so minor? I don't care what brand or model it may be. Is it because you already paid $40 for these heads and you're just that determined to use them, future consequences be damned?

I get where you're coming from bigbulls, but people do different things. I know a ton of people myself that do/use dumb things but you cant tell them any different. dstubb wants to use the rages and I think he'll continue to until he desires a change. Sometimes you have to learn by making wrong choices. (not saying rages are a wrong choice)
Since you work in this line of business you should already know that and not let it get to you so much. I'm not challenging your credibility, I see your standpoint. Sometimes its easier just to say something once, and if the people dont listen, turn the other cheek.

Guys, I think I was wrong. Need to appologize.
Dropped a doe this morning from my 50lb longbow with 125magnus head. Penetrated thru both sides but the BH side was sticking out the shoulder about 6". Well that critter ran thru the corn about 70 yards, and fell down a bunch of times on the BH and knocking my BH and arrow around thru the corn rows, and it bent the tip slightly.
I had to take some pliers to fix it.
These fixed BHs failed me. I think I need to switch to the indestructable rage.

No it didnt go over my head actualy in your post you didnt say anything about rocks all you said was corn and the deer faling down. If dirt and corn bent your broadhead then thats even worse. I dunno 36 ft. lbs of energy and a bent tip. I could go on and on how that long bow of yours is inferior to my compound and that your less of a hunter for not using a compound bow. I could also add how it makes me a better and more effiecient hunter that I shoot a compound that out performs your little long bow. If I did that then my post would start sounding like one of yours and I surely dont want that. Hopefuly that didnt go over your head BC.

BC, you don't have to lie to try and cover your tracks. We all know that you feel like an idiot now, and i highly doubt that you were able to run along side the deer to see your broadhead scrape the rocks.

I just wonder how a rage would have held up? But then again, I would have done great because I wouldn't have gotten a passthru hitting the far shoulder.
