It's your bow, and you can do what you want. You did ask for opinions, so here is the opinion of someone who has actually used the Whisker Biscuit, and several drop away rests including the Muzzy.
1. I don't know why you would want to switch from the MZE, assuming it is set up correctly and you are getting no contact issues.
2. I am currently shooting a QAD and a Cavalier drop away, and I like them. With an arrow holder, they are about as close to full containment as you can get. With moleskin or something similar, either the MZE or other drop aways are silent on the draw.
3. Now, as to your question - how much does the Biscuit slow down the arrow. When I tested it, it was 1 fps with offset 4" AAE Speedflyte vanes. With full helical and the same vanes, it was 3 fps. I shot those Speedflytes, Blazers, or Vanetec vanes through a Whisker Biscuit for thousands of shots with no damage at all. When I read about how the Biscuit absolutely destroys fletching on an arrow, well it either is very poorly tuned, or they are using very soft plastic fletch. You can use the rest. I may again some day. The rest shoots pretty well, and if tuned correctly, they cause little speed loss and virtually no fletching damage. But...
If I had a Muzzy Zero Effect, I would likely just stick with that and be done with it. Good rest, quiet, no cables, good containment. What else do you want?

I use to get caught up in this debate every year."Whisker Biscuit or Drop Away?" If your form is not perfect (not too many do BTW) the whisker biscuit will magnifyit.A drop away is a lot more forgiving if tuned & timed properly (not hard to do) and will lead to tighter groups.

I have a QAD Drop axay on my bow and love the thing. It is a full containment but is a drop away, its the best of both worlds. Great hunting rest and very quiet!! JMO One of the best rests on the market. You lock it in the upright position and your arrow cant come out. 1 Feature i really like about it is that if you are at full draw and need to let down the rest will stay locked up, as apposed to other simialar and more expensive rest, if you are at full draw and let down the rest fork will fall all the way down also.

fall away, when i first got my WB years ago i thought i had it all figured out. then my veins started fallin off and tuning was not fun. hunting in the cold i had to keep it clean and it was noisy with both carbon and aluminum arrows. after i bought my ripcord i have had no such problems. totally happy. go with a fall away

the only thing i dint like about the WB. is it can be pretty noisy sometimes. enough where a deer might hear it.

that when he pulled it back he's sure that the deer heard it. I thought it was hard to believe, but maybe it did? Fitting for this forum he now shoots a muzzy ze as do I.

I've been shooting a WB for the past 8 years. I have had only 3 fletch come off during that time. I switched from 4" duravanes to blazers this past summer and I couldn't be happier. Not once has there been a noise issue with it, and I have NEVER had an arrow fall from my rest.

I will say, since we are talking about noise and the WB... I have found it very noisy ONLY with certain arrows. I have used many different arrows so i know that the wb can be noisy (for all the non believers). With a first gen. easton axis arrow, the wb is absolutely dead silent. It makes 0 noise! With a new Axis Nano, the story is not the same. It is LOUD when drawn. It reminded me of an old tm hunter with the white tips on them[&:]
Other than that, i love the wb as much as a drop away. I shsot hunter class 3d with my wb on my general last year and never had a problem with it. It definately has its place in the hunting world.
