buying my first bow?

RE: buying my first bow?
Something else to consider, as you can see on Cabela's site. They offer package deals that may seem to be more cost effective, but they are not. You would be much better off choosing the accessories that you like best and pay the extra cost than buy a package, realize that you don't like any of the parts, and then have to go out and buy the custom accessories anyway. It gets expensive. Just buy once. Expect this setup to last you 2-5 years (not counting arrows) depending upon how much you get into the sport.

Try http://www.huntersfriend.com/. They have bow packages where you can mix and match accesories. Worth a look.
