I was torn as to which was better until I got a Trophy Taker. Now, fall away, all the way. I love my Trophy Taker. My QAD gave me lots of problems, but it turns out it just wouldn't work with my bow, and nothing to do with the quality of the rest.

As far as the TT...well, it's all metal. Super durable. Very quiet, simple operation, and just works flawlessly and silently with my bow. There are other good rests out there; the Whisker Biscuit, QAD (Hunter and Ultra HD models), and the Trophy Taker are just the fall away/containment rests I have experience with.

QAD = Quality Archery Designs. Makers of one of the best fall away rests on the market. Brand is sorta synonymous with the product. Won't work with every bow, though.

If you're gonna get a drop-away, have a good shop install it and time it correcty, and I personally think that he micro-tune ones are worth their weight in GOLD to help you get your bow tuned to it's optimal potential.

Take a look at the Vapor Trail Limb Driver. They are super easy to setup and absolutely worth the $100.
