drop away problems
I have a hoyt trykon w/ a hoyt drop away which is basically the Nap 3000. It seems most of my arrows are flying true however I get the occasional one that flys quite erratic. Its not the same arrow all the time it seems its pretty hit and miss I can shoot 5 arrows from 40 and usually at least 1 seems to fly poorly like really corkscrew wobble around what ever you want to call it any ideas its close to opener oct 18 but i'm thinking about switching rest any suggestions on fixes or new rests thanks matt

RE: drop away problems
In all honesty its probably just you.
I sat back shooting today (no good that did either) and I can usually hit a baseball sized dot at 50 yards (in the yard when I'm relaxed). Every so often, especially when shooting multiple arrows in a row, I'll have trouble forcing myself to aim.... and I'll jerk my arm up and punch the release and I can watch the arrow dang near get sideways as it goes to the target. I'll take a breather.... take my time.... and the next one will be a dart. It is possible to bugger yourself up with any rest.
