Can any of you shooting the new Blacknight High Brace ( 6.75" ) tell us what you think about the new bow? How well does it balance? How is hand shock? How hard does the bow draw and what other drawing bow would you compare it to? How accurate is it?
Also please tell us what poundage bow you have, what grain arrow you are shooting, your draw length and the speed that you are getting.
Thanks!

It draws just like the DC Pat. Brace height on mine is closer to 7" than to 6.75" as stated on website. Balances well and is very accurate. Only downside is " to me" it is a little noisy. I am still working on that.
It is very fast, my ' 03 BK maxed at 61.5# with loop, peep, leeches, hush kit gets with 28" mods (28.5" AMO):
334 grian arrow = 303 fps
432 grain arrow = 271
526 grain arrow = 247

A lot of what I hear when I shoot my Dually is noise coming from the cables above the cable slide. You can pluck them with your fingers and get the same noise so I' m going to put on a small set of cat whiskers.

Thanks everyone! I ordered a 2003 Blacknight ( 6.75" brace ) as a special order 65# bow through my dealer in Utah. Bowtech will take a 60# bow and install tall pivots in lieu of short pivots, this will get me a 65# bow.
JRB can you email me at [email protected] and let me know about unit 40 by Grand Junction for archery elk. I have a few N.R. bonus points and was thinking about this unit to take our horses into. We heard that there are alot of bear in this unit and were alittle bit worried about the horses and camp. Also looking at unit 76 if we hold out.
Thanks, Alan

Muzzy,
Unit 40 is mostly private with a little piece of public. There are elk on that small peice of public ground but they can be moved off to private ground with a little pressure. I do not think you need horses for that unit.
