Peep removal/installation?

I DEFINITELY recommend using a press to insert a peep... as mentioned above, it lets you easily separate the individual strands to ascertain you've got the string perfectly balanced, and I've seen someone try to use one of those separator tools before and it popped a few little fibers free.. Probably nothing to really be concerned about,but I don't want to be looking at any extra fibers dangling off my string at the height of my eye, nor have to burn them off or constantly be waxing the string to keep them down.

In my early years of bowhunting (back in the late 70's) I used a ball point pin to seperate the string[&:]. Makes me cringe at the thought now. I do have a bowmender now and use it.

Heck Rick, in my early years I stuck a ball point pen into the string to divide it. If I got an uneven number on one side I'd start forcing the extras over the tip of the pen.[&:] Amazing, I never killed myself or broke a string.[:-]
