is the blind elevated or are you shooting downward instead of straight out.
or did it start when you put the bucknasty strings and cables on, now i aint tryin to say nothin bad about em but if you picked up more speed with them that means they may be lighter than your old strings and cables causing everything to work a little faster and the noise may be coming from that.
would get the same effect with lighter arrows as a matter of fact try a heavier arrow to see if it quiets the bow back to normal.

You're not wearing a "Wind-Breaker" while you're shooting are you?? It made me wonder one night..My bow has always been quiet. and since I never hit my arm it took a few shots... and some quiz-icle looks before I realized what was happening.

The noise did start after I installed the new strings. I've been meaning to try a heavier arrow but I don't have one. I may make a trip to the shop and borrow to see if there's a difference. I'm shooting straight out of the blind. The bow is making no contact with the blind.

GR8

Haha, no windbreaker.

take an old arrow and maybe wrap it with some kind of tape to add weight to it and go with a heavier broad head just for testing purposes.
i wasnt thinking of the bow hitting something i was just thinking maybe the angle you were holding the bow at had something to do with it maybe some how making the rest pop.

It could possibly be attributed to string creep. If the string has elongated then the cam could be slightly over rotated which could cause your problem. It doesn't take a whole lot.
