Update:
I had two little ding marks in my riser shelf, so I moved the rest back to the farthest hole, in an attempt to have the end of the prongs just before the beginning of the shelf... but it didn't quite work, so now I have 4 little ding marks on my shelf.
Before I left the office, I stopped by a few classrooms on the way out and filled a little baggy with chalk dust, and when I got home, I applied the dust to the fletchings on one of my arrows. I shot it a good 5 or six times and I couldn't detect any scrapes or marks in the chalk that would indicate fletching contact, so I feel confident that I can time my rest correctly!
I'm not about to adjust my nock at all since it was so nicely put on by the nice guys at Huntersfriend.com, and since I tried warming my teflon covers in hot tap water with the hopes of making them compliant enough to slide onto the prongs, but with no luck, I decided to take the whammy off until I get some prongs that I'm happy with, and that won't smack against my shelf.
A question about the Burger Button hole... Is this the hole into which I bolted my rest from the other side? And is this the magic location where the arrow rests on the perfect bow set up, or would I just move my nock point up if I couldn't get the rest to stop banging into the shelf from this location and had to raise the vertical position of the rest?
I was busy all day today, so I didn't contact SpotHogg about replacement prongs. I did, however put my hostage back on and piled 3 arrows together from across my bedroom (17 feet, I measured
) and am unable to pull them out! This was a huge confidence booster that I am able to change rests myself without needing an archery pro to hold my hand the whole time! My makeshift target is much more difficult to remove arrows from than the nice foam targets at the proshop! I also tightened my limbs down from 65 to the full 70 (i'm guessing its 70 exactly) and now my bow feels smoother! It also shot a bit more quietly too! I am wondering if I'd have an easier time keeping the arrow on the Whammy with my easier, heavier draw weight...
*droptine, those hunter implants look awesome... very quiet I bet! I'll have to check if BassPro carries them the next time I go up there to spend the rest of my $$$

WK...I replied to your email and attached two pictures. Hope you get them.
As for launcher tamers, 'GIBBS' supply a great transparent tubing and this works quite well. However you will need to dipthem into 'boiling water' (just for about 30 seconds)---not hot tap water and they'll slide right over the prongs.
As for dinging the shelf of your bow, get some (thin) moleskin and stick on the shelf.

UPDATE:
I received new launcher arms in the mail today... the 3rd generation variety. I took the Hostage off and slapped the Whammy back on and am happy to report that these new launcher arms do the trick.... no shelf contact! I am very pleased with this design. I can nock an arrow and lay my bow down and the arrow stays in the rest. I just need to figure out how to prevent the D-loop from pinching the arrow and making it "jump" as I draw the bow. The rest was certainly not at fault the one time my arrow came off the rest. I'm very excited to take my bow to the range tomorrow where I'll get a chance to try and tune it.
Spot-Hogg was fantastic... I told them I didn't like the 2nd generation prongs and they shipped me new ones... no charge! They showed up and fixed the problems I was having. I'm pretty sure I can shoot cock vane up or down with no problems on my Marquis! I'll give one more update on how it tunes tomorrow, but after that I should have all the bugs worked out.
Happy shooting,
da Walleyeking
