Default Draw Length Question

I've been trying to shoot my Scott Mongoose as a back tension release and feel my draw length is to long. When I am at full draw and trying to use my back to set off the release, I feel like my elbow is too far to the rear and can't get the release to fire. I am thinking if I shorten my draw length 1 inch that this may help the problem, what do you thing?

Default RE: Draw Length Question

If you're triggering the release with the fingertip knuckle, shorten the release until you're using the middle knuckle. That should get your inch without losing any powerstroke and speed. And it will help you keep from developing the horrors of punching and flinching.
