I got a bowmaster press for xmas, and will finally be able to use it soon
. First thing I plan to do is shorten my draw length just a tad by twisting my string up, to really fine tune it to me.
My question is, can I simply twist up the string until I get the draw right where I want it, then twist the cable to bring the cam (1) back in time, or does the cable length have an impact on draw length as well, meaning I'd have to twist the string shorter than I want, then it will come back when I adjust the cable.
Did this make any sense?

If you adjust the cable also it will make the draw go back up in length also. If you move them the same amount the draw length will not change very much if any. I would just take twist out of the cable to make it shorter.
