Ok boy' s and girl' s the weather is going to turn cold tonight and the deer know it. The bucks are starting to rub and scrape. I saw one make a rub tonight, right along the road. The rut is just around the corner. Hold on its going to be a fun ride. My advice spend the next two weeks in the woods, sleep there if you have to. If I worked this time of year I would quit my job. So stop looking at HuntingNet.com during hunt light, and get out there and hunt.

melikes your spritely demeanor. I have to live through you and the others, as it will be another week before I clamber 30 feet up a tree, dip ' o hagen in cheek and butterflies in stomach at 6 o' clock in the morning! Best of luck and let us know how you fare...l

After hunting this morning, I was on my way home and about a mile down the road standing in someones yard there was a buck that looked like the one in the above post. It stood there as I drove by and when I backed up it trotted about 25 yds to the backyard and just watched. Man what a wall hanger, hope it doesn' t get hit by a car.

Well thanks to my Penns Woods Digital scouting cam I knew right where to go when the action got hot. I was lucky enough to put my tag on a real nice 8 pnt at 4:30pm Friday. Thank GOD for BIG deer.
