Default 3rd axis adjustments on bow sights

would some one fill me in on the importance and function of this adjustment. I'm buying a new sight today and really don't know what the adjustment does. thanks for any feed back given.

when the 1st and 2nd are set correctly, the 3rd keeps your level good when you're pointing your bow up or down - keeping your lefties and righties in line.
