Default tracer nock, take apart???

got my tracer nocks today but was wondering how to get them apart to put the battery in. ive tried turning them by hand and cant move anything but was wondering if putting pliers on them was ok or am i just doing it wrong and shouldnt have to do that?

im an idiot. well actually it just happened that the first one i tried to take apart was kinda stuck in there so it didnt just fall out the others did, i thought that i must have to unscrew something since the first one didnt come out but its real easy just tip them up with the nock off and the insides fall out
