sounds like about 1/2 a twist, either in or out depending on if the string is twisted clockwise or counter-clockwise.

I have my D-loop set so when I draw in lines the peep up

I have to turn my d-loop once in a while to get the peep back on line. I was full-draw on a turkey last year and the peep was completely turned sideways. I'll be putting on a new string next spring for sure.
