How Do You Determine Draw Length On Your Bow?
#1
I bought a hoyt razortech used from a friend and he has since moved away and I have no cantact to him anymore. When I bought the bow it seemed to have the right DL for me but now it seems short. I need to know how to determine the draw length that the bow is set at? Any help appreciated.

Draw the bow and have someone mark the arrow in line with the center of the mounting screw hole. The actual method is to measure to the low part of the grip, but that hole is usually directly over the lowest part of the grip on a Hoyt. Once you've got your mark, measure from the bottom of the notch in the nock to the mark, then add 1 3/4".

Is there no way to tell by looking at the cam? Like by looking at what peg the string is on and what not? Also I would like to know how they work and how to adjust them. i have nevr bought a new bow; when you buy a new bow does it come with instructions for doing this plus maitenance etc. etc.

You've got a Hoyt, so you can get everything you want from their website. http://www.hoyt.com
The info you're after is under the Technical menu. Bow manuals and tune charts. There is all kinds of other good stuff on the Hoyt site you really need to check out.
