I have a bad habit of closing my left eye sometimes. It causes 2 problems. The first is I can't follow the arrow. The second is that your field of vision is blocked with the left eye closed and therefore can not see things that are in the way or are going to be in the way of a shot if the deer is walking.

I am left handed and right eye dominant. I am as screwed up as they come. I shoot a pistol left hand tactical. I shoot a rifle right hand. I use any utensil left handed. BUT, I shoot a bow only right handed. Buy a new bow!!!! If you rationalize well, the learning curve will be "fun". You get a new bow and you will have new goals to accomplish. In the end you will be much more successful. ESPECIALLY, when you are shooting with adrenaline pumping through you. You will invariably forget to close your dominant eye. Fun summer bro!!!
