Trophy Ridge sight- help
I transferred my 3 year old Trophy Ridge V- drive sight from my old bow to my new Black Ice. I have been fighting with an obvious buzzing coming from my sight. By plucking the string I have narrowed it down to the actual circular casing that holds the vertical pins. I have checked and rechecked every allen screw there is on the entire sight. (all tight) There are also no cracks, loose pins, or anything else that I can see causing it.
I would like to keep the sight ($ reasons) but cannot have this obvious noise coming from an extremely quiet bow. Anyone help?
Thanks

RE: Trophy Ridge sight- help
My TR sight has the fiber optics running around the outside of the sight body and they sit in little grooves (the grooves hold the fibers in place). If yours is like this then it's possible that one of the fibers has come out of the groove and it's vibrating. Just a thought.
