String loop nock point
I have an old bow.
It's a XI ultra magnum compound bow and would like to install a string loop on the bow string.
Can someone please tell me where the nock point should be on the bow string when using the loop or direct me to a link that explains it.
Thanks

RE: String loop nock point
I quit using a knockpoint with a string loop. When placed above the arrow but below the top part of the string loop it would cause the arrow to lift off of the rest when drawing. I tried this with a brass knock and a tied knock and had the same results. I did have good luck by by using a tied knock above and below the arrow knock but this just adds unneeded weight to the string. A properly tied strig loop won't move on the serving when tight.

What I mean is where does the loop go in reference to the rest.
Witha brass nock pointIhad itabout 1/8 of an inch above the rest.
I don't think the nock point with a string loop should be 1/8 above the rest should it????
