Question on Hoyt Cam & 1/2

RE: Question on Hoyt Cam & 1/2
It is possible to upgrade some of the "older" model TEC bows though only Hoyt can answer which ones. They are rumored not to even begin to work on this issue until after January 1st as they are currently busy producing all of the newer models.
Cost will be prohibitive considering the fact that you will not only have to buy the eccentrics and cables/string but also possibly new limbs.

RE: Question on Hoyt Cam & 1/2
A friend talked with Hoyt Tech last week. He has a 2002 Ultratec with command cams. Hoyt informed the change could be done but since we're going from a 2 cam system to the cam and a 1/2 we would loose 10 to 15 lb of draw weight. That means a new set of limbs would be in order and possibly string and cable. He didn't talk about a 1 cam to the cam and a 1/2.
