Dealer doesn't matter for bowtech it can be taken to ANY dealer (listed in FAQ's on website). Warranty extendsONLY to the ORIGINAL owner - it is nontransferable.

Check it out for yourself: http://www.bowtecharchery.com/main.html

Information is located under Products, then click on either: exclusions, warranty service, and FAQ's to see for yourself.
I wasn't talking Bowtech, I said other brands. And they allmight have the same policy as BT, not sure, I know what I have seen done with my bow. And it was covered under Warranty. No proof of Purchase.

Should be a no brainer. The shop shouldn't care if Bowtec reimburses the store owner for the time.
I agree ... it is part of the package when selling. To each their own ...
As far as Hoyt is concerned when I talk to an authorized dealer, I'm talking to them. If it cost them something it could be a different story. They couldn't even give me a retail price for some cams. Had to get it from a dealer. I buy a lot of things and never have I not been able to get a msrp.

If you registered the bow with Bowtech online or by mailing in the card then it doesn't matter what dealer you go to. Bowtech tracks the bows thru the PC. When I bought my bow a few weeks ago the dealer pulled up the bow on his PC to verify serial # and I'm sure the serial # info is on record with Bowtech. i then registered the bow online with Bowtech.
